About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 3+ years of experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, editing techniques, motion graphics, and social media content. You will collaborate with designers, copywriters, and client servicing teams to create engaging videos for digital campaigns across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for digital, social media, and marketing campaigns.
• Create engaging reels, short-form videos, brand films, corporate videos, and ad creatives.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, animations, sound design, and visual effects where required.
• Work closely with the creative and client servicing teams to understand campaign objectives.
• Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and project requirements.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Organize and maintain video assets and project files.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, social media formats, and AI-powered editing tools.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Good knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Understanding of motion graphics, typography, color grading, and audio editing.
• Experience editing content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
• Basic knowledge of camera angles, framing, and storytelling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-powered editing tools.
• Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Cinema 4D is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of photography or videography.
• Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film, Multimedia, Animation, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• A strong portfolio showcasing video editing and motion graphics work is mandatory.

Job Description

• Managing a set of clients.
• Brainstorm and supervise the creatives and manage the client relationship.
• Meeting with clients to discuss and understand their business challenges and requirements.
• Brief the internal team – creative, copy, media, digital, social – as may be the case for creating campaigns as per the client’s objectives and budgets allocated.
• Getting the creatives and other work executed error-free from the internal teams – creative, media, production, digital, social, etc.....
• Brainstorming and ideating with internal teams for campaigns and out-of-the-box and innovative and effective ideas for the client’s campaigns.
• Keeping track of the client’s spending, invoicing, and recovery of payments and proof checking – checking all content for any communication that goes out of Xebec.
• Weekly/monthly reports and JSRs for all clients and tracking performance and effectiveness of campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Client Partner
• 1 to 2 years of experience in creatives and manage the client
• Impeccable English and effective communication is a must
• Experience in Manage clients/accounts independently.
